What affects your price
Packing is priced by the volume of what has to be boxed and by how fragile it is. A kitchen and a china cabinet take dramatically longer per cubic foot than a bedroom of clothes and linens, so the mix of rooms matters more than the size of the home.
Scope is the main choice. Full packing covers everything down to the junk drawer; partial packing typically covers kitchens, closets and breakables while you handle the rest; fragile-only is the narrowest option. Unpacking on the other end — placing items, flattening cartons and hauling away the debris — is priced separately.
Materials are their own line: cartons, dish barrels, wardrobe boxes, mattress bags, paper, tape, and custom crating for mirrors, artwork, TVs or stone tops. Timing also counts. Packing the day before a move is normal; same-day packing compresses the work into fewer hours, needs more movers, and is the most expensive way to do it.
Every move is quoted on its own details rather than a flat rate. Send us the specifics and we will price it against the drivers above.
