Residential pricing comes down to how long the job takes and how many movers it takes to do it safely. Crew size is the first lever: a studio usually runs on two movers, a three-bedroom home on three or four, and adding a mover often shortens the day enough to cost about the same while reducing wear on your furniture.

A ground-floor townhouse with driveway parking loads far faster than a fourth-floor walk-up in Lakeview or a high-rise where the building only releases the freight elevator for a two-hour window. Long carries from the truck to the door, tight staircase turns, and elevator reservations all add time.
After that: the distance between addresses, how much packing you want us to handle, materials such as wardrobe boxes and mattress bags, specialty pieces like a piano or a safe that need extra hands and equipment, and your date. The last weekend of the month and the first of the month are the busiest slots in Chicagoland, and midweek dates are easier to schedule.

Can you reserve the freight elevator?
We coordinate with you on building requirements but the elevator reservation typically needs to come from the resident with the building's management office.
Are stairs extra?
Stair flights can affect time on the job. We'll discuss this up front in your quote so there are no surprises.
